Another great one I recommend that's sort of similar, is called "Thidwick the big-hearted Moose" also by Dr. Seuss. Us Porters are big Seuss fans and still have all the books in boxes in my parents' basement :)

that's awesome!!! i had never read it until i bought it the other day....i love it.
